ME :-)

Hello, my name is Astrid - my friends just call me “orange”. Welcome to my blog, where I’d like to share some of my spare time work with you.

I think I inherited the <3 for handicrafts from my parents. My Granny was the most talented person in knitting and crochet work that I know. I remember my Mom always in front of her sewing machine or a filigree “Scherenschnitt”. And my father inspired a lot of young people at his working place (and at home! ;o) ) with his creativity and ideas. He is a great painter, too. So, you can imagine, in our household there was always something going on :o)

There was a period, where I spent all my time on other interests. But now the impulse to create something with my own hands and to learn new techniques is back and it is stronger than before.
